DeadEndRoad’s Beautiful Cinema: Irma Vep (2022)

As mentioned on the main show, we’re breaking out Beautiful Cinema into its own episodes as a little experiment. And it’s a good thing too, because we had a lot to say about HBO’s miniseries Irma Vep. The series that’s a quasi-remake of the 1997 film of the same name.

We cover the timeliness of the series, given WarnerDiscovery’s all-too recent nonsense, “content,” what worked for us and didn’t, and even get a little pretentious about media criticism.
